ABB has recently acquired Jokab Safety, a developer of innovative products and solutions for machine safety.

Founded in Sweden in 1988, Jokab are specialists in practical application of safety requirements in connection with production requirements. The acquisition has enabled ABB and Jokab to strengthen their total offering to meet customers increasing requirements in machine safety.

Focused exclusively on the machine safety segment Jokab Safety’s existing product portfolio is highly complementary to ABB’s existing low voltage line-up, merging standard control products and solutions with machine safety products.
