ACS Complete Drill Rig Automation System for Drillstar Australia

Utilising the range of IFM R360 mobile controllers, Auto Control Systems have just finished a custom designed drill rod handling system for Drillstar Australia for use on their latest purpose built drill rig.

Thought to be the first of its kind, the system allows the operator to load a new drill rod into the machine from the rack provided with the touch of a button.  As well as the automation system, Auto Controls also supplied and installed the auto electrical requirements for the job including the lighting and the engine electrics.
